Introduction

Network Service Foundation Research Center (NSFRC) was established in August 2008. There are 12 full-time faculty members, including one academician of both the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering, 2 professors, 6 associate professors and 3 assistant professors. NSFRC is mainly engaged in the research of basic theories and key technologies of the service layer in the converged network environment. The research areas include service creation technology and service execution platform, future Internet and personalized services, and service and software testing. Recently, NSFRC has been granted of a series of national research projects, and gained fruitful achievements. NSFRC has become one of the most important research institutes of services computing community in China, and is one of the founders of CCF Technical Committee of Services Computing.
