Introduction

The Information Security Center (BUPT-ISC) was founded in 1985. Approved by Chinese Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council, it possesses a mobile station for the post-doctors in cryptography, and two programs for doctoral and master degrees in cryptography and information security, respectively. Leaded by Prof. Yixian Yang, BUPT-ISC has established a fully-fledged chain that covers education, scientific research, achievements conversion, and enterprise incubation. The mission of BUPT-ISC is to make contributions to national cyberspace security via training men for profession in cyberspace security, pursuing theoretical and technical originality, undertaking the corresponding national programs, etc. The main research directions include modern cryptography, next generation network/future Internet security, swarm intelligence and complex network security, quantum cryptography and quantum network security, etc. BUPT-ISC has made fruitful achievements in scientific research.
