讲座题目:Resource Management in Software Defined Wireless Networks
 主讲人:Yan Zhang
 主持人:田辉
 时间:2016年3月23日(周三)下午14:00-16:00
 地点:新科研楼610

讲座内容摘要:

Software-Defined Wireless Networking (SDWN) plays a crucial role in the next-generation 5G communications architectures and networks. In SDWNs, resource management is separated from the geo-distributed cloud, forming a virtual network topology in the control plane. Thus, a centralized controller is able to control and program the behavior of the entire network. This talk mainly includes three parts. In the first part, we introduce the SDWNs scenarios and key concepts. Then, we focus on efficient resource management in SDWNs, and discuss competition and cooperation mechanisms for different resources utilization. We study resource trading and a utility function has been considered to incorporate operation cost and resource utilization. Finally, we will show illustrative results to demonstrate the advantages/disadvantages in using different strategies.
