报告摘要：
Big data is changing our industry, governments, society and the way we live. Underpinning big data lie the big data technologies ranging from wireless sensing to decision support systems. In this talk, Prof Guo will discuss the development of big data technologies and their major applications. In the context of big data wireless communications, he will present some major research activities and achievements at the Global Big Data Technologies Center at UTS. These include in-band full duplex systems, mm-wave and THz communications and reconfigurable antenna systems.
报告人简介：
Prof Yingjie Jay Guo is a Distinguished Professor and the Founding Director of Global Big Data Technologies Centre at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Australia. He is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Engineering and Technology, a Fellow of IEEE and a Fellow of IET, and a member of the College of Experts of Australian Research Council (ARC). He has won a number of most prestigious Australian national awards, and was named one of the top 100 most influential engineers in Australia in 2014 and 2015. His research interest includes antennas, mm-wave and THz communications and sensing systems, 5G and big data technologies.
